I provide evidence-informed nutrition and lifestyle coaching, consultancy, education, corporate wellbeing programmes, culinary experiences, and wellness support for individuals and organisations. My services may be delivered online or in person. My approach integrates preventive healthcare with practical, science-based nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support physical and mental wellbeing.

Depending on the services you receive, I may collect personal information including :

I collect this information to provide nutrition and wellbeing services. The lawful basis for processing personal data is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract). For health-related data (special category data), the lawful basis is Article 9(2)(a) GDPR (explicit consent) and/or Article 9(2)(h) GDPR (provision of health care). If you choose to subscribe to my newsletter or receive updates about my services, I will use your email address only for that purpose. You may unsubscribe at any time by contacting me.

 

5. Legal Basis for Processing

Under the UK GDPR and, where applicable, the EU GDPR, I rely on the following legal bases:

 

Article 6(1)(b,c,f) – processing necessary: for the performance of a contract when providing my services; to comply with legal obligations where applicable; for my legitimate interests in managing my professional practice, provided these interests do not override your rights.

 

For health information (special category personal data), I rely on:

Article 9(2)(a;h) – your explicit consent; and/or; processing necessary for the provision of health or wellbeing services.

Where applicable, I use the secure client management platform Practice Better to manage appointments, client records, questionnaires, secure messaging and programme delivery. Practice Better acts as a data processor on my behalf and processes personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws. I take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. I ensure your personal data, including health and contact details, are protected in accordance with GDPR and professional confidentiality standards.

 

I retain your records following the completion of your healthcare in accordance with current professional guidelines issued by The British Association for Nutrition & Lifestyle Medicine (BANT).

In certain circumstances, your data may also be used to comply with legal requirements, safeguarding obligations, or for marketing communications (such as newsletters), but only with your explicit consent.

 

7. Sharing Your Information

Your personal information is treated as confidential. I will only share your information where:

 

+ you have given your explicit consent

+ it is necessary for your care (for example, with another healthcare professional)

+ it is required by law or regulatory authorities

+ it is necessary to protect you or another person from serious harm or

+ trusted service providers process data on my behalf under appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations.

 

Where appropriate, anonymised case studies may be used for professional development or educational purposes. These will not identify you.

Client records are retained in accordance with current professional guidance issued by the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT), which is currently eight years for adult client records unless a longer retention period is required by law. Other records, such as enquiries or administrative correspondence, are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary.

My website is designed to respect your privacy.

If you contact me through my website or by email, I will use the information you provide only to respond to your enquiry or provide the services you request. If you subscribe to my newsletter, I will securely store your email address and use it only to send newsletters and updates about my services. You may unsubscribe at any time by contacting me.

Cancellation Policy

Appointments cancelled more than 24 hours in advance are free of charge. If you need to cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled time, 50% of the appointment fee will apply
